Got a digital camera for christmas (Nisis DV4 - a very cool gadget). changed profile on
EBuyer to get a 256Mb SDCard to be sent to work. arrived in the first week of the new
year. tested and worked beautifully. configured my Amiga to read the SDCard - via a 7-in-1
card reader. needed to format it, then format it in the camera, before i could read it (thanks
to the DRM part of SDCards!). I also got a radiocontrol UFO/blimp. very cool. va va voom!
its almost lost all bouyancy now..but after 4 weeks that aint bad!
DragonFly BSD is still ticking along nicely. I've blatted my laptops FreeBSD by a nasty 5.0 -> 5.2 messup. but i'll be sticking FreeBSD 5.2.1 onto it later. One Sparc10 box is now running Debian 3.0. stable. (will go to testing later this week). will be interesting to see how it does against the NetBSD one. both have dual 55MHz Microsparcs and identical hardware.
Havent played much console gaming during the break at all. and no time in the new year either
We've won our past 2 games in Hockey. 4-1 and 6-1...so , fingers crossed, we'll be staying up in this harder division next year
